Guide: How to Burn Watchable DVD's from BIN and CUE files w/o using Nero
HOW TO BURN DVD’S FROM BIN&CUE FILES WITHOUT NERO
a guide by coolGray
I figured I would write this guide because I had some serious trouble with this. This guide explains how to burn a movie (playable in home players) from BIN and CUE files without using Nero FOR FREE!.
Tools Needed:
IsoBuster- http://www.smart-projects.net/isobuster/
DivXtoDVD converter- http://www.free-codecs.com/DivXToDVD_download.htm
Folder2Iso http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_tools/folder2iso.cfm
Non-Nero Burning Software
First Step: BIN and CUE to MPEG
Make sure you have the BIN and the CUE file in the same folder named after your movie.
For VCD File
Select File->Open Image File and open the CUE file.
Click on the MPEGAV folder.
Select all DAT files and right click and select Extract but filter only M2F2 Mpg frames.
Save the new file as moviename.mpg. It will automatically be converted to a compliant mpeg file.

For SCVD files
Select File->Open Image File and open the CUE file.
Click on the MPEG2 folder.
Select all mpg files and right click and select Extract but filter only M2F2 Mpg frames.
Save the new file as moviename.mpg. Remember that you must have a MPEG2 codec or a software DVD Player installed to be able to play SVCD mpg files.

Second Step: MPEG to DVD
Open DivXtoDVD converter.
Next to Source File browse and find the MPEG file you converted with ISO Buster.
Next to Destination browse and find the folder where you have been storing your files throughout this project.
Select Convert and wait as DivXtoDVD converts your MPEG file to a DVD format.
Third Step: Making The ISO
After doing the step above you should have a VIDEO_TS folder in the folder named after your movie. Go into the folder and create a new folder called AUDIO_TS and leave it empty.
Download and Run Folder2Iso
On Select Folder Browse and Find your Movie Folder containing VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS
Fourth Step: Burning!
Put a blank DVD-R in you DVD-burner drive
Open your favorite burning tool, that supports ISO’s (non Nero, that is thepoint of this guide!)
Load your ISO and Burn it as an ISO.
Fifth Step: Completeion!
That’s it! You’re done!
This file will now play in most commercial stand-alone dvd players!
(This currently won’t play on the xbox360…I’m working on that though)
Please dont steal my guide....if you want permission to use thin on your site please email me and i will allow it.
